Prakramika Vocational Institute was founded in Chennai, India in 2014, as a Social Enterprise, by its founder Dr. Gayatri Narasimhan, with an objective to have a dedicated organisation to cater to the educational/training needs of neuro diverse Children/adults, as a service, and thereby equip them to lead an independent and dignified life.

PVI caters to the needs of broad spectrum of neurodiverse community by offering them certified vocational training and skill development courses, free of cost. Currently, the skill development courses are offered as PG Diploma courses and all the courses are online. In addition, PVI provides training, including devising of strategies in setting up ‘Vocational Centres’, to special educators, teachers, parents and care givers of neuro diverse children/adults.
